"I thought I knew what tiramisu was. I had a notion of what ingredients and flavors were used to create my favorite dessert. That is, until I tried the tiramisu here. It was like being reborn. When the first splash of flavor hit my tongue, I experienced pure bliss. I savored every morsel as if it were my last. Do yourself a favor and try it. We also had some of the main dishes. The duck ragu pasta was great. But the tiramisu is the real winner."

"We were lucky to get seated without a reservation. The banks are wooden and quite thin so after a while it gets uncomfortable to sit on it. Other than that the place is nicely decorated. The food was good, typical local cuisine. Nothing mind blowing but decent and enjoyable. The service was a little slow but friendly and nice."

"Wow! What fantastic food! The best pasta we had during our stay in Verona! It's a shame we couldn't go back... We didn't have a reservation but was able to get a table for 4 as soon as it opened at 7pm for 90mins, we were so lucky as they were turning people away - so would highly recommend booking. Two of the dishes were without tomatoe sauce and they tasted amazing! Service was fantastic and we weren't rushed at all. I asked for a recommendation for a red wine to have with my pasta and it was always fantastic!"

"We visited Verona for a couple hours on our way to the Dolomites and found this sweet cafe for lunch. The people working here were very friendly and the ambiance was cozy. They had a section with vegetarian dishes, which we really appreciated! The fettuccini con fungi and spaghetti rummo (cherry tomatoes and burrata) were rich and delicious."

"Sometimes you just get a good vibe about a place, Le Petarine sums that up! Atmosphere in spades, lovely welcome and food to die for. Just off the main tourist drag so they live on reputation and satisfaction. You will need to book in the evening and leave space for at least two courses! Wonderful"

"Beautiful cosy trattoria with typical veronese menu and authentic flavors. Non too much room but the atmosphere is lively and warm. Tagliatelle ai fegatini (liver) is highly recommended if you like liver of course. Gnocchi al ragù was delicious. Not cheap but reasonably priced."
